After me having a stroke and a friend of mine that went with me that spent five months in the hospital he was totally relaxing totally clean very easy to find I wish I had learned about this years ago but we will be back for sure and the hot tub excellent can't say enough about how good it was thank you for your hospitality and sharing your cabin with all of us. We liked this house, the washer/dryer, kitchen and location in Girdwood. Only reason for not a 5 star is that the bed spring and the recliners need to be replaced. The bed spring was the squeakiest I have ever experienced and recliner would not stay reclined.

Condo is just as pictured. Immaculately clean. Beautiful kitchen. Amazing views. We were close enough to walk to the mercantile shop and a couple restaurants which was nice. Girdwood is nicely located midway between Anchorage and Whittier. Overall a great stay and I highly recommend this place!

Where is Girdwood?

This town’s action revolves around the Alyeska Ski Resort, and our Girdwood rentals give guests easy access to the best of Alyeska. With Anchorage’s city center just under 40 miles away, Girdwood feels much more secluded than it is. It’s just a short drive to Whittier, a hub for many of the area’s best glacier tours and other boat activities in the Prince William Sound.

Things to do in Girdwood

The Girdwood area offers something for visitors in every season. Winter guests can take advantage of Alyeska Ski Resort’s majestic slopes, and the Alyeska Aerial Tram is just as worthwhile for the scenery as it is for skiing. Keep an eye out for moose, bears, elk, foxes, bald eagles, and more at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center a few miles down the road. If you’re looking for a family-friendly hike, Virgin Falls is a quick and easy walk to a moss-covered waterfall. Girdwood also provides plenty of opportunities for fishing, biking, and other outdoor adventures.

Visit one of our Girdwood cabin rentals for a taste of Alaska’s glory. Whether you’re here for a winter ski trip or a summer glacier tour, you won’t be disappointed in a Girdwood vacation.
